Kakabeak

As the name suggests, these bold red blooms are shaped like a kaka's beak. They hang off the plant in big delicate clusters. The native kakabeak is threatened with extinction in the wild but is commonly grown as a garden plant. I have one growing in my garden, it was the inspiration and reference for this artwork.

• This is the one and only original pencil drawing.

• I've added a complementary double-matted border to the drawing so it is ready to frame. All you need to do is pop it into a 12 x 12 inch (or 305mm) size frame. 

• The drawing size is about 21 x 21cm plus the double mat border to make a total size of 305 x 305mm (12 x 12 inches)
