'Heimiomyces Velutipes'

A fairly common mushroom that does not appear to have a common name? Heimiomyces Velutipes, a beautiful orange-ochre coloured mushroom. It grows on decaying wood in the forest. I found these fungi in abundance at Sanctuary Mountain over the warmer months. Big voluptuous bunches of them growing on a fallen tree, they just looked so perfect!

• This is the one and only original pencil drawing.

• I've added a complementary double-matted border to the drawing so it is ready to frame. All you need to do is pop it into a 12 x 12 inch (or 305mm) size frame.
