Well this fungi is pretty special, isn't it? The blue pinkgill is a bold aqua-blue mushroom that sprouts up from the forest floor. If you've seen one with your own eyes you will know just how special they are. I managed to find the entoloma hochstetteri at Dansey Reserve near Rotorua. This blue pinkgill mushroom is perhaps the most iconic native New Zealand fungi of all!
