Kōwhai Flowers

One of my favourite things about Spring is seeing the kōwhai trees loaded with clumps of these bright yellow flowers (and watching all the nectar-feeding birds get their fill on them!). So I couldn't resist drawing this piece to showcase the flower in all of its glory.
